Brief Description:
Under the high temperature oxidation atmosphere, a layer of quartz protective layer is formed on the surface of the silicon molybdenum rod to prevent it from further oxidation. When the temperature of the element is higher than 1700 ℃, the quartz protective layer melts, and the element continues to use in the oxidation atmosphere, and the quartz protective layer is regenerated. Silicon molybdenum rod should not be used in the range of 400-700 ℃ for a long time, otherwise the components will be powdered due to the strong oxidation at low temperature.
